Magic City Collectibles is a family-owned sports card shop located in the heart of Homewood at 2809 Central Ave, Birmingham, Alabama. Owner Brooks Vernon has been collecting since childhood, and at just 15 years old he turned that passion into a business. Since opening our doors three years ago, we’ve been proud to serve the Birmingham community and collectors nationwide.

In 2023, we expanded to include Pokémon and trading card games, led by Brooks’ sister, Maddie Vernon Walker. From sports cards to TCG, our shop now offers something for every type of collector. We’ve had the privilege of building connections with MLB players and collectors alike, but what drives us most is sharing the thrill of the hobby with our community—especially the next generation of collectors.
